Blakeney Freshes

Just a stone's throw from our shop in Holt is the picturesque quay side village of Blakeney where there's a delightful walking route known as the Blakeney Freshes. This scenic path takes you through the stunning Blakeney National Nature Reserve, offering breathtaking views of salt marshes, sand dunes, and local wildlife.

Starting from the village, walkers can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the raised seawall, which provides a vantage point for spotting various bird species, particularly during migration seasons. The route also offers views of the historic Blakeney Point, a renowned spot for seal watching.
